Coach Ron will be working with Dr Sanjay Gupta and CNN FItNation to help single mom of two young girls to complete Nautica Malibu Triathlon

CNN FItNation is headed by Dr Sanjay Gupta to guide the six people selected to overcome their personal challenges and complete their first triathlon. Each will receive a bike, uniform, wetsuit, personal training and nutrition coaching, two all-expenses-paid training trips, and a chance to train and compete alongside Dr. Sanjay Gupta at the 2012 Nautica Malibu Triathlon!

I will be coaching Adreinne LaGrier from St Leonard's MD. Adreinne is a high school teacher and mother of two young girls. See her and the other selectees CNN FitNation video submission HERE. COACH RON APPOINTED TO THE MARYLAND STATE ADVISORY COUNCIL ON PHYSICAL FITNESS

On August 10, 2010 Coach Ron was notified that he had been appointed by the Governor of Maryland to be a member of the MARYLAND STATE ADVISORY COUNCIL ON PHYSICAL FITNESS.

‘The mission of the Maryland State Advisory Council on Physical Fitness is to educate, advise, and encourage the citizens of Maryland to gain health benefits and enhance the quality of their lives through regular physical activity.’

"I am honored and humbled at this appointment and will strive to make my tenure as productive as possible. The mission of the Council is my passion and I look to your help in making Marylanders more fit."

Coach Ron selected for 2009 Maryland Fitness Council Physical Activity Excellence Award.
