Celebrating the 2009 Festival of Trees by participating in the “8th Annual YMCA Run for Hospice” Friday November 27 at the YMCA of Talbot County. The 10K event will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the 5K starting at approximately 10:05 a.m. Get the whole family involved in this post-Thanksgiving Day event. Strollers/wagons are welcome. Run for hospice benefits Camp Lazy Days.

The Third Annual Westfield Annapolis 5k will be benefitting Chesapeake
Hospice House, Wounded Warriors Project, and Rude Ranch Animal
Sanctuary. This year's race will be presented by the Peninsula Pacers
Running Club (501c(3))and Annapolis Trail Runners.

The 1st Annual Colonel Ripley Memorial Fuel 4 Life Race at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium benefiting the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund (IMSFF). The IMSFF was created in order to provide wounded veterans and the families with financial assistance and quality of life solutions. Col. John H. Ripley, USMC (ret.), a 1962 Graduate from the U.S. Naval Academy, earned the Navy Cross for his heoric actions in Vietnam in 1972.
