New Years Beginning Running Program

Our 8-week Beginning Running Program is designed to instruct non-runners in all aspects of running and to develop running skills. This low-key program will guide the participants from a walk-run to a 20 minute non-stop run. Program finishers will graduate at a local 5k in mid-March. As with all new fitness programs, please consult with your doctor before starting this program. Even if you have run before, come and recharge your fitness batteries and learn about various aspects of running that you may have not known about.
Program Includes:
•Complete Running Schedule
•Weekly Group Runs
•Weekly Running Topics: finding the right shoes, injury prevention and treatment, heart rate training, running safety, motivation, keeping running fun, and more!
Dates, Places, Times:
•Weekly Runs are at Annapolis High School Track, Sundays at 11:00 a.m. starting 4 January 2010
Instructors:
•Experienced runners, including certified running coaches
